Sugar Bay is the first and only American-style summer camp in South Africa. We have over 21 years of experience in providing a safe and fun holiday destination for children and teens. Now Sugar Bay has opened its International Academy to give an adventure like never before. The International Academy is based at Sugar Bay Holiday Resort, in Zinkwazi beach on the North East Coast of South Africa. KwaZulu-Natal is a paradise of tropical forests, warm weather all year round, sandy beaches, and a beautiful fresh-water lagoon. It is 45 minutes from the international airport and only 2 hours from the country's best Big 5 Game Reserves. It is the perfect venue for "guppies" who enjoy water sports and outdoor activities.

Our intensive programs are jam-packed with travel, adventure, friends, certifications, and an unforgettable learning experience. It's going to cover all the stuff you wish you were taught but never were. You will learn hundreds of new skills that will prepare you for life, and you will have the opportunity to practice those skills through hands-on experience. From fitness to financial management, tracking to teaching, welding to weaponry, scuba diving to self-defense, you will dive into things first-hand. You will discover and explore your particular interests more deeply. Under the guidance of professional mentors, you will gain a new perspective on life and learn how to create a future filled with excitement, adventure, and purpose.
